pacifier clip tutorial

i have really needed one of these for my son but they have always been pretty girly in the stores so i've never bought one. it would have come in VERY handy on the streets of new york city as he was chucking his binky out the stroller.

i definitely want to use this tutorial to make a pacifier clip for my next baby, since mine's now a little old to be clipping his binky on (he'd probably just tear the clip off anyway!)...

Yeah, these things are priceless. I made one that was really easy - I got suspender clips and ribbon and sewed the ribbon to the clip - no snap or anything, and then I got Goodie miniature rubberbands - Target had a package of blue, white, and pink ones that would work no matter what the gender is. I sewed the ribbon around the rubberband...so it's all always permanently attached, but they wash really well. Then, you can just loop the ribbon through itself around the binky holder, or just put the rubberband around the nob thingy on the front of the binky. This probably doesn't make any sense, but they were super easy, and work really well... maybe I'll to a tutorial on my blog. :)

Kamille, Thanks for linking to m tutorial. These paci clips are super easy to make, stay on VERY well, and will hold up to all kinds of washings. I have a very active 16 month old and he still can't open the clip once it's on. Enjoy!
